Currently in its 37th year, Our festival is free to attend. The Highland Creek Heritage Festival celebrates one of the earliest settlements in the Scarborough community with a fun filled day of music, food and entertainment for the whole family! Highland Creek Heritage Festival is a place people gather together to cultivate a sense of belonging and invest in their local community.

Every September a committee is formed to plan, organize and bring all the elements together for The Annual Highland Creek Heritage Festival and "I Love Highland Creek" Dinner Dance Fundraiser The Volunteer committee is made up of locals whose intent is to bring the community together to celebrate our unique place and people.
The festival began in 1986, local community member and business owner Terry Woods brought the idea to life. We are continuing in our predecessors footsteps all the way from 1986 to present! Its our intent is to keep the Highland Creek Festival Heritage Alive and Thriving for many years to come!
